Teach Them Diligently 2016 Atlanta

Teach-Them-DBelieve it or not, I am sitting here at the Teach Them Diligently convention in Atlanta today. As a matter of fact, I am in the Homeschool Launch booth 801, answering questions and taking your money for the convention next year! Yep, it will be happening again next year. But that is then, this is now.

Last night I went to three different speakers and was blessed, inspired and encouraged. First I listened to Luke Wilkerson, from Intoxicated On Life, speak on A Christians Parent’s Guide to Overcoming Anger. Let me tell you, if there is one thing that I think that everyone, not just homeschoolers, deals with on a daily basis, its anger. Some of his top points were the reality of sinful anger, the goodness of Godly Anger, and the Danger of sinful anger. It was a very eye opening time to how I can sometimes be. Especially since my son was sitting with me during the talk.

Todd Wilson, The Family Man, was another great speaker on Taming the Techno Beast. One of his main points was critical in the technology battle is DO NOT MINIMIZE the issue! This is a critical thing to remember. He also mentioned the fact that even he had to give up some of his technological devices.

Lastly, I heard Norm Wakefield speak on The Most Powerful Words Ever Heard. Hebrews 13:5 has those words shown in the verse. If you were to take a look at the verse, I think you could figure it out. He spoke to the hearts of many men and women. These words are to encourage us today and it should give you comfort.

If you have not been to the Teach Them Diligently Homeschool Conference, you can still make it on Saturday. Cost is $50 per person for a one day visit. While you are here, stop by the Homeschool Launch booth and say hello. While you are there at the booth, sign up for next years conference and the Homeschool Launch website for only $40. Yes that is three days of conference, great homeschool resources, admittance to the exposition center all for $40. Hope to see you tomorrow!

Till then…
I’m just a husband of a homeschooling mom,

You know that you want to say it....
