Wow!! What a way to start out the Teach Them Diligently Conference in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Ken Ham exploded out of the gate with his talk on “Is Genesis Still Relevant in 2013?” The fact is YES, IT IS!
As Ken Ham discussed, there is an attack on the foundation of the Bible and it starts in Genesis Chapter 3 and continues today! If the world or Satan can get you to question the very basics of the Bible, then what has happened to the foundation of the Christian belief that you profess to hold?

They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served something created instead of the Creator, who is praised forever. Amen.
Sadly enough so many of our kids have a cracked or a broken foundation. Even worse they get this foundation from us, the husbands of a homeschooling mom! This is where we, the husbands of a homeschooling moms, need to step up and maybe work on our foundation. Check on our beliefs and see if there are any cracks that need to be repaired. Do we trust the authority of God’s word or do we use the fallible mind of man to try to make sense of what we read. Our kids learn so much from just watching our actions and hearing our beliefs even when we do not know it.
Husbands, we all have projects that we are eventually going to get to around the house. If one of them was getting your house’s foundation fixed before your house fell down, I bet that you would jump on it rather quickly! So what is different in regards to your and especially your kids spirituality foundation? Your the husband of a homeschooling mom and you have a responsibility to help keep the spiritual foundation secure for mom and kids!
